Is the PG Diploma in molecular and bio chemical technology equivalent to M.Sc?

DEAR PG DIPLOMA IS NOT EQUIVALENT TO MASTER DEGREE. SOME UNIVERSITIES ALLOW LATERAL ENTRY IN M.SC .
