Is the PGPM program affiliated to UGC or AICTE? Is it true that this college provide distance MBA not regular MBA?

    It is an autonomous university. Such universities has its own norms and also government approval . Even IIM, JBIMS, NMIMS are autonomous universities .

    Yes it is true that it is neither aicte nor ugc approved but don't worry it will not be a problem.And also to clarify that it gives Regular PGPM degree not MBA whoever has told you has said about Distance MBA from IBS dehradun which is distance program . The only problem u may face by doing PGPM is that u cant do p.hd after passing from pgpm degree. The other problem which u may face is that some companies dont accept pgpm. Other than that its okay to join ibs. Actually Speaking Companies don't see degree or diploma it only see your knowledge level and after 1 year from joining a company the only thing that matters is job experience. Y

Admissions at IBS Mumbai are done through entrance examinations. Students need to first visit the college's official website and fill out an application form, and pay the application fee. They have to then sit for an either the IBSAT or other national level exams, such as CAT/ GMAT, XAT, NMAT, etc. Applicant are shortlisted for the final selection round on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam. The final round involves a micro-presentation and a PI. Students who clear all rounds should pay the course fee to secure their seat at this college.
