Is the plan of doing diploma course in 2d and 3d animation and then specialisation from abroad is good. Will it provide strong income later?

I will complete my graduation in biotechnology next year. I am very creative and want to dedicate my career in field of animations. Please guide about the courses as i don't want to go for a double graduation.A diploma degree and then specialisation is good to make career in animations ?
