Is the reservation system in India fair after an MBBS?
The reservation system in India is a boon for many while a curse for some. However, it is believed that a reservation system in higher education, especially after MBBS, leads to the compromise in the quality of education along with seizing a worthy opportunity from the hands of deserving candidates

In some cases, reservation system is useful i.e. in registration fees of some exams. But reservation system should be according to the financial circumstances not according to the caste system. And after MBBS, we should prefer those who have better skills and knowledge.

Reservation will automatically will become undesirable if Leadership seed cultivation training is introduced before joining any instt./professional course.
I think time has arrived that after 12th 1st step should be to pass thru' Leadership Seed Cultivation training. This will help them in realising

Reservation is like partiality between the two class of people in society . Rich gets benefit n Poor remains uneducated.

I think reservation should be caught and throughout from our nation first of all it killing talent, it killing healthy competition, it promoting corruption, murder.and so on.
so from my point of view reservation is not good after MBBS or any other.

Hi All,
I think reservation should be abolished at the higher education level because it does impact the quality of students passing out and when you are attaining specialization, it should be purely on the merit and skills basis.

Well said Shruti, if you are becoming a specialist that too in a medical profession , you should attain it purely on your capabilities because otherwise you will be putting somebody's life at risk.

Reservation only helps in securing a seat in the college and if the candidate does not perform in studies in the college , he will be thrown out automatically because there is no reservation in the college examinations.
So, only those candidates who are deserving ends up with a degree

Hey Everyone,
Its not about reservation at higher education or at the UG level, it should be about whether the benefits of the reservation is reaching out to the right person or not because the whole idea of reservation is of no use if its provided to the person who actually doesn't need it.

Hi All,
Reservation should only be provided to those who are economically backward and can't afford quality education . Government should make stringent laws regarding reservation and implement the same because the benefits of reservation does not reach the right person.
