Is the selection based on academic performance or entrance test score or percentage?

My academic performance was average i.e 49% in X and 70% in XII,58.33% in graduation. I got 500 composite score in September MAT 2017. If I get 650+ cutoff in Dec MAT there is any chance to get admission in Christ University ?

To apply for Christ University, you need to score 600 or above in MAT and 50% in class 12th.
The selection is based on your performance in the selection process.
    The selection process includes:
Written Assessment and Verbal Assessment which is a written test on a general topic.
Group Discussion and Micro presentation where you will have to talk on a given topic for 90 seconds (a list of topics will be given beforehand),
Personal interview with a panel of interviewers.

Candidate shortlisting process mostly depends upon your entrance examination but few colleges consider your academic performance also. It depends totally upon the college and their requirements. It would be better if you check on with the respective college website. There is a fair chance for you in getting into Christ University.
