Placements for B.E. Mechanical Engineering programs at Sha-Shib College of Technology (SCT) are mediocre. Although the college offers placement assistance, the number of core mechanical companies that visit the campus is minimal. The majority of placements come from IT businesses such as TCS, Infosys, and Wipro, which provide positions in software and related sectors that may not be relevant to a core mechanical engineering background. Mechanical students can find work in manufacturing, production, and maintenance, but many will need to do off-campus placements or internships to get relevant experience. Sha-Shib College of Technology has a B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering with an intake of about 60 to 120 students annually, as approved by the department specifically and depending on the infrastructure of the college. Intake could change as per availability of faculty members, infrastructure, and as laid down by RGPV (Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya) and AICTE. It's best to consult with the college for the latest and most correct intake figures since these may shift over time subject to regulatory approval and institutional requirement.

To take a B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Sha-Shib College of Technology, you must be eligible, i.e., must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. You must be selected through the JEE Main rank or a state-level entrance examination, as the policy of the college may prefer. For the students who are not having any entrance exam ranking, direct admission through the management quota may be offered. Once you get qualified through the entrance or management quota, you will have to fill out the form, pay the requisite fees, and submit mandatory documents.

A B.E. is an easy yet time-consuming degree course, with a demand of a lot of commitment. The college follows a standard rigorous syllabus as laid down by RGPV, and according to the standard should have a clear conceptual knowledge of basic engineering. The course has extensive theoretical and practical exposure. It encompasses participation in project work, assignments, examinations, etc. Even though the teachers are around for guidance, only the own study and time management make for a successful experience. The level of difficulty is totally dependent on personal commitment, zeal, and excitement toward the subject.

Sha-Shib College of Technology gives scholarships to undergraduate students on the basis of merit and the need. Scholarships granted by the College for those students scoring the highest marks internally are provided. The College also provides a government-sponsored scholarship under its National Scholarship Portal, applicable to students of economically weaker sections. A few other state government schemes may be available to help those students with their fees. Contacting the college directly for updated information on scholarship application processes, eligibility, and other options is highly advised.
