It is very important to get the study material as well as the practice manual issued by ICAI as well as RTPs, mock test especially in the case of theory subjects. If you are referring to ICAI material, you will definitely pass the exam. -

Yes, the study material issued by ICAI is more than enough for CA final exams. It's just that you need to study the entire material and practice all the questions as many times as you can with that solve RTPs and mock test papers as all these will be sufficient for CA final exams.

No, if you really are aiming to clear CA finals in 1st attempt then reading study materials, practice manual and RTP are a must.
But, you cannot rely on only these. You need to take additional books for practical papers because working out sums are very important.
Also, there is a compilation of all previous year question papers for each chapter in ICAI cloud. Do go through it as you get an idea of which question comes for how many marks. -

Instead of writing an essay on this question with a bunch of words, I would rather suggest you to go for this sequence.
Any reference book or notes through which you can grasp and understand the concepts.
Study material: Just read questions therein and see if you have left any concept or topic untouched then you can cover it from study material.
Practice manual: A must read book
RTP: Just go through it if you have already read the PM thoroughly, you'll find almost the same questions.
MTP: Again few repeated questions.
Thus, as you have to do hard work while grasping the concepts and in the PM stage.

No, it is not enough. You have to rely on other sources as well. You have to study PM, RTP, MTP and amendments. Let me be very honest, study material is not that user friendly. You have to thoroughly read and conceptualize the content of the study materials and solve the answers of last 10 years set in the examinations. Check the solutions with the suggested answers. Regarding direct and indirect tax law papers you must update yourself by referring to latest amendments in law that may not be there in the study materials all the time. No, candidates do not need to create fresh login for every attempt of CA Final exam. Students can register for the CA Final exam with the ICAI login created for the first time. The same login ID remains valid for the entire course. Students must note that to register for the CA Final exam, they have to create a login at SSP portal of the ICAI exam and not on the home website. The SSP Portal login is valid upto 5 year. Candidates can revalidate their login upon expiry by paying INR 500.
CA Final form correction window opens on the next day of exam form submission deadline. The application form correction window remains open for 2 days during which candidates can login to SSP portal and edit CA Final course group, test city and medium of exam. No other field of the application form is editable. If any student wishes to update their photo, they can do so at the SSP portal before filling the CA Final exam form.
