Yes, you need to appear in the TET, which is known as the Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT), to become a music teacher in Andhra Pradesh. To apply for this exam, you need to have the following qualifications:
1. Have passed high school or equivalent qualifications from a recognised board.
2. Have completed a degree or equivalent Diploma course in music from a recognised government music college.
3. In case you don't have either, you need to have completed a four-year Certificate course from a government music college.
4. The age requirements are comparable to those for other teaching positions in Andhra Pradesh TET, I. e. , 40 years. -
