On October 27, 2023, the UGC NET application deadlines were extended. Candidates have until October 31, 2023, to submit an application for the UGC NET exam. Candidates requested an extension of the application deadline because they were unable to complete the form for the UGC NET December cycle exam because of technical issues with the official website. But even after October 31, a lot of applicants continued to ask for an extension of the application period since they were still having technological difficulties and couldn't complete the form. However, the application period concluded on October 31, 2023, and it was not reopened.

The UGC NET application dates for December session 2024 released. The cadidates are allowed to apply for the UGC NET exam as per the dates. The application dates will be extended or not depends upon the requests of candidates if they will not able to fill out the application form for the UGC NET December cycle exam due to the technical errors on the offcial website.
