With an acceptance rate of 55%, the University of Connecticut is moderately selective during admission. The students with above-average academic scores, excellent class ranks, standardized test scores, and English language proficiency still have a good probability of selection. The university is not hard to get into if the student has excellent academic performance, and obtained a high GPA or ACT, or SAT score. Also, the university emphasizes any participation in extracurricular activities and who have relevant experience.
