    McGill University is a public research university in Montreal, Quebec. Established in 1821, it is the oldest university in Canada. Six years later, in 1827, the University of Toronto was established in Toronto. Both universities are very popular among international students. The Times Higher Education (THE) has been consistently ranking the University of Toronto #18 in the world for the last 4 years, meanwhile, for the same period of time McGill University has been ranking at around #45 position in the world. According to an unofficial source, Uni of Toronto acceptance rate stands at 54% which means that university accepts 54 out of 100 students. It is a moderate acceptance rate, making it a slightly selective university.

However, acceptance rates for Engineering programs like Engineering, Rotman Commerce, and Computer Science are relatively lower, standing at just 10 to 20% making it a highly selective university to get into.
