is ther any scope for software engineering for a commerce student?

sir,i just received my 12 hsc results commerce i secured 75% and i am bit confused whether to take bcom or bbi because iam going to do software engineering in niit so can u tell me whether it willbe suitable for me in commerce field with general bcom
