No, there is no need to appear for CAT for admission to the IPM course in IIM Indore. There is a separate exam for IPM admission conducted by IIM Indore with the name - IPMAT - Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test.
IIM Indore conducts its own IPMAT, IIM Ranchi accepts IPMAT Indore scores
