If you are pursuing political science and you have not studied this subject then there will be a deduction of 2.5% from your best 4 subjects marks, check against the cut-off released by DU.
If you change your stream then 2.5% is deducted from the best 4 subject's percentage. If you add physical education in best 4 subjects then also 2.5% will be deducted. For further information regarding deduction, visit DU website. -
If you choose to pursue political science in DU, then it is compulsory to include political science in your best 4 failing, in which 2.5% would be deducted from your best of four.

There may be percentage deduction. You need to check it on Delhi university site. May be there is 5% deduction.

No, there is no reduction. The admission is totally merit based on the basis of your 12th standard best four subject percentage.
