    There are various specializations that students can pursue in their history courses. The Roman Empire and its history is among one of the most important civilizations in the world and is well-liked among students. But, if you wish to become a teacher in India, you may want to look into more specializations that could be directly related to the education you will be imparting to the students. Most institutes will give preference to hire teachers with a specialisation in a subject that they will be teaching. Since Ancient Rome is a less studied subject at the high-school and college levels in India, it might narrow down job opportunities
