I don't think so. Biotechnology is a branch in B-Tech. In AKTU, there is a separate paper for Biology students, and they can enrolled in B-Tech Biotechnology.

Biotechnology is also a course of BSc, so B.Tech biotechnology represents a four year engineering course where as BSc in biotechnology means 3 year non engineering course. In B.Tech, you get to know about the application part and in bsc you get to know about the theory part.
