<p>Yes, there is a placement cell available at GCT which majorly focuses on attracting companies for placements of students. They also provide internship opportunities in summer vacations or winter vacations. Placement cells play a major role in college as they have good connections with companies so they can help in finding sponsors for college fests. Some colleges specifically have a placement cell and some colleges have a research and development department which take care of placements and connections. My college has R&amp;D department which majorly provides research internships.</p>
