Ragging in any form is a cognizable offence and is banned in COER University, Roorkee. Strict disciplinary action will be taken against student found guilty of any act such as abusing, assaulting, threatening, teasing and embarrassment to new students, among others.

Any one indulging in ragging is likely to be punished appropriately which may include expulsion from hostel, suspension from institution or classes for certain period of time, with holding scholarship or other benefit, debarring from participation in various events of co-curricular/extra-curricular and more.
