Is there a scope for B.Tech in biotechnology in India?
Which are the most preferable colleges for the same? If not, is there a scope for this course in Europe especially in Lithuania?

Biotechnology is a rapidly developing field. Many private businesses are exploring this field and heavily investing in it. It is safe to say that there are ample job opportunities for B.E./B.Tech. Biotechnology Graduates in private sector. Government sector too offers job opportunities, but not in the scale in which private sector does. Average starting salary is generally between 2.4 to 5 Lakh Rupees per year.

So you will have to face strong competition, you will have to be more competent because there are very few companies in India. Therefore, if you can do B.Tech in some other field, I would recommend you that or if you've great interest in this field then try to go to some other country.
