    Here it goes-
    Biotechnology is a new field relative to other engineering courses. You need to keep this in mind whenever you are considering scope of biotechnology. Next up is jobs. Biotechnology can lead you to research as well as industrial jobs. Each of them has their own advantages. Research needs time and a lot of focus. Jobs in industry are grueling. So, it needs to be kept in mind that whatever you do you take up the things you like. Jobs include pharmaceutical companies, jobs in pathology labs, sales etc.

    Yes as it has an edge over B.Sc Biotechnology since one gets more practical experience.Moreover,if you persue btech in this field,you will be open to both Mtech and MSc at post graduation level unlike Bsc which offers only MSc.Besides, it is more of an engineering degree and therefore the compilation of medical field I.e. biotechnology along with engineering subjects broaden more of its sphere.Moreover, its industrial exposure adds value addition to the btech biotechnology besides it lab work!
