    No, not very much atleast. Plastic Manufacture is almost automated in large enterprises and smaller industries don't hire very much. If you do this course from a good college then you may have a possibility. But please don't pursue it thinking that it will be better than other streams. It is not better than CS ME or EE. So, think carefully, if you can get into a good college like CIPET then pursuing plastic engineering is worthy, otherwise not.

    Relating to the scope in India, there are ample engineering courses which teach Plastic Technology or a broader branch, Polymers. It's something which is not followed by the masses, of course, but that's the beauty of the best gift of chemistry to us- Polymers.
