Is there a separate course for wedding planning or should I do an event management course to become a wedding planner?

No. Such Specialisation offered by good institutions. If you find any private one, dono opt for that. It is better to do a Comprehensive Degree/Course in Event Management which shall cover the Wedding planning as well.
