Is there a specific course for travel journalism? I want to work with channels like TLC, Travel XP.

To be a travel journalist, you first need to study journalism. Travel journalism may sound fancy, but its not easy to get in to travel sector. If your goal is to work for travel shows, it depends whether you want to write for their shows or produce a show. Then both are two different worlds. If you want to become a travel journalist, then you need to start writing about places you have visited and look for agencies where you can submit your travelogues. There are many such content driven travel sites. Else, you can also blog them. Many times travel websites, ask for a writing portfolio. Your blog will come handy. You can also directly apply to the websites or forward your resume to the channel. While there are no specified course for travel journalism, it mostly depends on your writing skills and presentation.
