Yes, Pondicherry University has it's own entrance exam. Candidates seeking admission in Pondicherry University had filled the Application Form online and had submitted on or before the last date of application May 07 2018. After applying candidates need to download admit cards and they have to appear for Pondicherry university entrance exam.

MA: The entrance examination would comprise Objectives Type questions of general nature drawn from undergraduate syllabi from Indian Universities. The major focus would be on poetry, prose, drama and literary criticism - British, American, Commonwealth and Indian - that undergraduate is expected to be familiar with-An overall awareness of literature is what is tested.
