Students who wish to pursue a Doctor of Medicine or MD course are required to appear for the NEET PG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate) or AIIMS PG (All India Institute Of Medical Science Postgraduation)/INI CET (Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test) entrance examination. Admissions to MD are done on the basis of Entrance Tests. Some colleges conduct their own entrance exams such as AIIMS PG JIPMER, etc. The common entrance exam in NEET PG whose score is acceptable in every college.
