    Hello, No, entrance exam for B.Ed. Eligibility Criteria is to pass with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Sciences or Social Sciences or Humanities or Commerce or equivalent.
    Or,
    Pass with 55% aggregate marks in B.Tech or BE with specialization in Science and Mathematics or equivalent.
    (Candidate must have studied the subject of the subject combination for at least three years at Bachelors Level or Masters Level).

     This is a Bachelors of Education and it is a program to prepare secondary school teachers by comprehensive curricular coverage with intensive training and field engagement.

    For admission in B.ed i am mentioneing the eligibility details which is required please do check:-

    There is no entrance exam for the Bachelor of Education program. Admission requirements: 50% of total points for a Bachelor's or Master's degree in science, social sciences, humanities, or commerce, or an equivalent; 55% of total points for a B.Tech. or B.E. with a scientific and mathematics focus, or an equivalent. There are no scholarships available under the B.Ed. degree.
    The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), a statutory agency of the Government of India, recognizes teacher education programs B.Ed., M.Ed., B.Ed. - M.Ed. (Integrated), B.A. B.Ed./B.sc. B.Ed., and Physical Education programs B.P.Ed. and M.P.Ed.

    Lovely Professional University (LPU) does have an entrance exam for B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) admission. The university conducts its own entrance test called the LPU NEST (National Entrance and Scholarship Test), which is used for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including the B.Ed program.

And there is No, entrance exam for B.Ed. Student. Interested applicant can take admission directly through the official website or by visiting university campus, nearby office. University also has admission team who can help student through the admission process.

    Yes, Lovely Professional University (LPU) requires candidates to take the LPUNEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test) for admissions to the B.Ed program. The entrance test provides both justification for admission and an opportunity to provide scholarships to meritorious candidates. 

    Candidates need to have minimum 50% marks in their graduation or post-graduation in any stream. LPUNEST for B.Ed is usually conducted in May and online registration starts in January. Candidates can appear for the LPUNEST from anywhere (online) or can choose from designataed test centres in India.

For engineering (B.Tech), LPU also accepts JEE Main scores.
