Is there an international college transfer programme for mechatronics in LPU?

B.Tech students only in CSE, ME and ECE streams are available. Placement in LPU is a very tricky affair. You've to join summer classes which will be paid. If you'll not go for these classes you'll be debarred from placement opportunities. They'll teach you certain things in those classes, which I found totally redundant. Mechanical department is very crowded in LPU which provides a lot of difficulties as you cannot get em all placed. You've to be extraordinary ('extra' is in literal sense). Now, I'll share my experience. None of my friends, acquaintances, friends of friends; acquaintances of acquaintances got placement from LPU or any kind of help. I must tell you that a lot of them are intelligent and are now in NIT's, army, MNCs, etc. Everyone helped themselves and got jobs because of their talent or references. Moreover, time may be tougher in coming future seeing market crunch and dearth in employability. If you've not taken admission yet, invest your money carefully. I'm not saying that LPU is a bad university but mechanical from LPU will be really tough if you are just another mediocre student and got influenced by your elders hearing that mechanical is an evergreen field. PS: If MS from foreign is in your mind then let me tell you LPU is a tier-3 University (means very less value in terms of international standards). All the best!

There are a lot many transfer programs do come, when you are pursuing your degree, so you will get the opportunity to be in that and grab the opportunity for the same.

Yes, you can change your branch in first year after that, you can't change your stream in 2nd or 3rd year.

Yes, LPU offers twin degree programme i. e 2 years study in LPU and 2 years in overseas in LPU's partner universities and you get the degree from the partner university. There are various programmes for this college transfer process and LPU has a tie-up with universities from the USA, Canada, Australia, France, Germany, etc. These programmes will be available for you when you will be in the 2nd year of your mechatronics engineering.
