    Hi,
When a prospective student sends his application to reputed colleges for admission there are certain marks allotted on the basis of extracurricular, work experience, etc. by some colleges.
Now if you want your work experience to count during admission then it is "recommended" to have a minimum 1 year work experience. This is because they have slots like 0-1 years, 1-2 years, etc.
Thus 6 to 10 months will fall under 0-1 year which will provide you same points that will be obtained by a fresher.
