No age restriction exists for taking the APTET exam. A candidate may take the Andhra Pradesh TET test if they meet the requirements for educational eligibility. Nonetheless, there are age restrictions for the teacher recruiting exam. In order to be eligible to take the Andhra Pradesh government's teacher recruitment exam, candidates must meet both the educational requirements and the age limit.

However, the teacher recruitment exam have the age limit criteria. To appear in the teacher recruitment exam conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh the candidates have to fulfill the age limit criteria as well as the educational qualifications criteria.
