Hi, There are various entrance examinations for engineering through which you can get admission to software engineering or any branch of engineering. Some of the major entrance examinations are IIT-JEE, AIEEE, BITSAT etc. It is always good to start preparation in class 11th for entrance examination

but aieee is one of the easiest exams so i guess u should prepare for it.

yes.there are many options other thanwriting aieee. u can write iitjee,bitsat,cet,dce,&other local exams of the respective states.u can also get into anna university if u score 100 percent in all three subjects ie maths ,physics ,chemistryetc.anna university is a good college almost with standards e

IIT-JEE ,AIEEE etc are the entrance exams for engineering and they are must without which u wont get admission to engineering college.the other alternatives are admission on donation(here also good 12th marks are needed) or go abroad on ur 12th marks.

see there are many entrance exams through which you can get admission to an engineering college like AIEEE,IIT-JEE,CET,DCE,MANIPAL,BHARTIYA VIDYA PEETH,SIKKIM MANIPAL UNIVERSITY etc. i suggest you to go through all the newspapers to learn more about the entrance exams.
