Hello, There is nothing as such cap on attempts or fix chances to appear for NTA UGC NET. However, there is a certain eligibility to appear for Assistant professor and JRF. To appear for JRF the age limit is 30 years for General category. Other categories and provided with 5 years relaxation benefit

As per the official updates, there is no age limit to appear in the UGC NET Examination for lectureship. So, one can appear as many times as he/she want. But if you are an aspirant who wants to appear in UGC NET Exam for JRF then the maximum age limit is 30 years. The relaxation is available for the
