MBA in finance by distance learning will help you to get additional new learnings in the field of management, which you can apply to achieve better performance. Better performance may help you to get accelerated promotion in current bank. You can also look for better opportunities in different banks

It depends on HR policies of bank. You may check this with HR manager of your bank.
