Is there any benefit to clearing only NTSE stage 1 but not stage 2?

    The NTSE stage 1 is conducted at the state level, and stage 2 is at the national level. If you fail stage 2 but pass stage 1, you may be eligible for the following benefits:
    1. You can get preferential treatment in admission to top schools for the 11th grade.
    2. Some states may offer scholarships as part of their student assistance programme.
    3. It might give you some confidence for board exams.
    4. You may be facilitated by your school to be able to make it to NTSE Stage 2. As of now, NTSE has been put on hold by NCERT, and you have to wait for notification for the next cycle.

    Yes. Once you clear stage 1, it can be treated as scorecard for admission in class 11 if you want to change school. Another benefit is your school will provide you guidance for further exams.
