Is there any benefits of C+ in civil enginering?

I have completed my +2 class in non medical & I have two months free. In june I am going abroad for further studies in civil diploma.So in two months I want to learn any computer language . Is C plus plus (C+) beneficial in civil enginering

    Dear Gurmit,
    Knowing how to code is a great skill. Doesn't matter if you're in sales or engineering. Start with Python. It's very powerful plus it's a lot easier to learn than C.
    It really depends on what you want to achieve. I know many CEs who never do any sort of programming. It definitely isn't part of your daily activities.
    But I also know a great many who do "program" as a sideline because they wanted to automate some tasks. These are very much tied to the software they use. E.g. if using something like AutoDesk's C3D chances are they do their "programming" in AutoLisp, or DotNet (C#/VBNet or more recently IronPython/-Ruby). But the
