No, there isn't any bond period for the RBI Assistant job. But there is a probation period of two years. During this probation period, your performance and suitability for the role is evaluated. After you complete this probation period you'll be confirmed as an RBI Assistant.

No, there is no required bond period after being chosen as an RBI Assistant. After getting selected, you will have to undergo a six-month probationary period before getting a permanent posting as an RBI Assistant. However, there is a mandatory two-year service or bond period to be considered for promotion. This is for those who want to apply for the promotion to the manager-level post in RBI after getting selected as assistants. After serving two years, the assistants in RBI become eligible for merit-based promotions to higher-level posts.
