Is there any chance of getting chemical eng in any of the govt.colleges? I scored 48 in JEE main and 80% in CBSE.

    Sorry Raj deep as you have secured less marks in jee main and 80% in cbse will not givr you percentile upto the mark,so you have lesser chances of getting a seat in a NIT nevertheless you can fill the choices and hope for the best.
    Trying to apply in local colleges will have a chance , my suggestion to you will be trying for local government college of your as well as other states.
