is there any chance of making such a rule by UPSC that one candidate can not apply for IAS who could not get min.80% in 12th class.

i want to be IAS. i have completed exam. of 12th(geo.,pub.adm.,hist.) ,but i am concerned about my result ,will not be above 80%. so i want to know is there any chance of making such a rule by UPSC in next 5-6years that one candidate can not apply for IAS who could not get 80% in 12th?

Hi Kuldeep, Nobody can predict what is going to happen 5 years down the line, not even astrologers can tell what is going to be a government policy after 6 years. as such there is no rule by the upsc and there is no information regarding this rule uptill now.

You cannot appear for IAS before you graduate. Therefore to answer your question, no, there is no such rule that is going to be implemented.
