Hello, there are about 3-4 lists that come out. But if you are not in the waiting list there is a very small chance that you will get selected.

Yes, there is a chance. You might not be in the waiting list now, but once the second or third list is declared, you might get selected. Although the chances are very slim, there is a chance.
