Is there any difference between MBA and PGDM programme? How is RIIM's PGDM program?

PGDM can only be offered by AICTE approved colleges and is a Diploma programme that is equivalent to a degree and the syllabus is dynamic and upgraded. The first and basic difference between the two programs is that the MBA is a Degree programme whereas a PGDM is a Diploma programme. An MBA programme is offered by a government or private university or a college affiliated with a university. An MBA course develops theoretical concepts and focuses on developing the technical knowledge of a student. PGDM course focuses on preparing the students for practical situations. MBA is a more affordable programme. PGDM programmes cost can vary between 5 and 20 Lacs. RIIM is a very good option for PGDM.
