B.Tech is an undergraduate degree conferred on completion of a four to five year programme of engineering academic programme. On the other hand, MCA stands for Masters of Computer Applications. It is a post-graduate academic degree that is conferred on completion of a three to four year acade

Dear Jai veer... there is a difference in the curriculum of MCA, CS Engg and engg degree in IT. Chk out the UGC site to understand the similarities and differences. If you want a quick degree and an immediate placement then go for B.Tech. Else go for B.SC IT/CS with math and electronics combination

If you do Engineering from streams like Mechanical / Chemicals/ Electronics / Electrical / Civil and others except computer science , then engineering is totally different from MCA.
