Is there any difference between PGDM and MBA degrees or are these same?

both r different mba is degree and pgdm is diploma. -
The main reason why postgraduate courses are named as PGDM is because when an Institute is an autonomous body (not affiliated to any University) and conducts management courses, then such Institutes cannot offer MBA degree. Even IIMs, XLRI's doesn't offer MBA degrees; they only give PGP Diploma

Both are the same, pgdm is offered by autonomous universities BY AICTE , mba is offered by UGC RELATED COLLEGES -
MBA is master degree and it is issued by AIMA and PGDM is a diploma which is issued by AICTE.
