One can't get the exposure what a student get in college. Live projects, different assignments, group assignment, a schedule in which candidate will have to make his workings.
To my knowledge companies also prefer a full-time MBA students for hiring. -

If a working professional, having a good work profile, pursues distance MBA from a top tier institute, then he will get better mileage compared to a full time MBA course.
