One can't get the exposure what a student get in college. Live projects, different assignments, group assignment, a schedule in which candidate will have to make his workings.
To my knowledge companies also prefer a full-time MBA students for hiring.

Generally, working professionals pursue distance MBA to enhance their qualification and to better their career prospectus. Whereas, a full time MBA gives an advantage to a student to be part of the campus placement process and then get the advantage of getting a good start on the career front. However a lot would, depend on institute from which one pursues MBA. If a working professional, having a good work profile, pursues distance MBA from a top tier institute, then he will get better mileage compared to a full time MBA course.
