Is there any dress code for UGC NET exam?

The National Testing Agency (NTA) and University Grants Commission (UGC) have not recommended a dress code for taking the UGC NET. Nevertheless, prior to taking the exam, candidates are recommended to do the following:
Dress code: No shoes or shoes with heavy soles are acceptable for candidates. Candidates should refrain from dressing in large-buttoned clothing to the testing facility.
Personal belongings: Test-takers are not permitted to bring any purses, cell phones, or electronic equipment like calculators inside the testing facility. The exam authorities will not be in charge of candidates' personal property being kept se

There is no recommended dress code by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and Univeristy Grants Commission (UGC) in order to appear for the UGC NET. However, the candidates takig the exam are advised to do the following thing before appearing for the exam:
- Attire: Candidates should not wear shoes or footwear with thick soles. Also, candidates must not wear clothes with large buttons to the test centre.
