Is there any dress code mentioned in the IAS admit card?

  • There is no official dress code for appearing in the IAS exam. The candidates should wear a decent and comfortable dress for the IAS exam. The candidates should note that the candidates can be frisked at the IAS examination centre in case of any doubt. There are instructions for the exam day but it does not mention much about the dress code. The candidates will not be allowed to carry any digital gadget into the examination hall. Mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, headphones, and smart watches are banned at the examination centre.
