    Yes, there are many private colleges offering direct admissions on the basis of class 12th.

    No, it is not possible to get admission in engineering without appearing for entrance exam.

    Hello Adesh,
    Until 2015, it was possible to take direct admission in most of the private engineering colleges in India without appearing for any entrance examination. However, 2016 onwards, Ministry of Human Resource and Development (MHRD) has made it mandatory to have a valid score in the respective entrance examination for every student, regardless of whether you take admission via counseling or direct admission.
    If a student doesn't have a valid score in the respective entrance examination, the corresponding university will not accept the registration of the student, thereby canceling his/her admission. So, beware of those fraud agent

    Adesh, there are many private universities LPU, Nirma, MIT, etc. that offer direct admission on the basis of your marks in class 12th provided you have very good percentage in class 12th.
    All these universities provide good placements.
