Yes, there will be an entrance test for B.Com from this year onwards. At the undergraduate level, the Hindu College offers BCom (Hons) courses to the students. The accepted entrance exam is CUET. The total course fee for the BCom (Hons) course is INR 54,780. The full form for CUET stands for Central University Entrance Test. Central University Entrance Test is an all-India level entrance examination that is conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) for admission to undergraduate courses offered in all the participating institutions.

BCom (Hons) is a UG-level course, extended over a period of three years. For admission to BCom (Hons) course offered by Hindu College, the accepted entrance exam is CUET. Only the candidates who have appeared for CUET and have registered for CSAS (Common Seat Allocation System) of DU, are eligible for securing a seat for BCom (Hons), Hindu College. Candidates who have completed Class 12 or are currently studying in Class 12, can appear for the CUET exam. The exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

  • It depends on the university or college you are applying to. Some universities/colleges conduct an entrance exam for admission to the B.Com (Hons.) program, while others may admit students based on their performance in their qualifying exams (such as 10+2 or equivalent).
For example, Delhi University conducts an entrance exam called DU JAT (Delhi University Joint Admission Test) for admission to its B.Com (Hons.) program. However, other universities and colleges may not have an entrance exam and may admit students based on merit.
