Is there any entrance exam for admission to M.A. English at Pondicherry university college and can I get a spot admission?

    Admission to the M.A. English course at Pondicherry University is done on merit as well as the entrance exam. The entrance examination would comprise 100 Multiple Choice Questions of a general nature drawn from Undergraduate syllabi from Indian Universities. The Common University Entrance Test CUET is conducted for all Integrated and PG programs including M.A. English course. The exam is conducted for shortlisting the candidates for admission in various PG programmes including M.A. M.Sc. M.A. M.Com. , M.Tech. M.A. LL. M programs and Five Year Integrated P. G. Programs. The total marks for PU CET UG 2026 will be 240 and their will be four sections physics, mathematics, chemistry and biology. Each marks per section is 60. Each correct answer will give uou +2 marks whereas each incorrect answer will give you -0.5 marks and there will be no penalty for the unattempted questions.
