Courses in Aeronautical Engg. can be studied at the diploma, UG, PG, and PhD levels. There are many entrance exams for aeronautical engineering (college & university wise) and other entrance exams are like JEE NDA Exams are entrance exams which are conducted by government.

Yes, getting admission in Aeronautical Engineering will definitely require you to pass entrance exam of your state or JEE Mains etc.
