YES there is a entrance exam for LPU which is mandatory for few programs like B.Tech, LLM, Some PG programs and PhD.

You will be glad to that LPU has taken an initiative during pandemic of COVID-19 that they have relaxed their eligibility criteria for admission for batch 2020. Eligibility for 2020 admission For B.A. (Journalism & Mass Communication) is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent. There is no Entrance Exam.

In the situation of Covid-19, LPU has relaxed their eligibility norms. Therefore the entrance exam is not a mandate for all the programmes.
For B.A. (Journalism & Mass Communication) the eligibility criteria is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent.
