Yes, every course has a scope provided you have selected as per your interest and the organisation which you are planning to join helps you in achieving your dream. I have heard much about LPU which floats more than 250 programmes with differential eligibility and fee structure and Botany is one much in demand. They can join Botanical Survey of India (BSI), National Institute of Oceanography (NIO), Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE) etc. as Project Assistant, Technical Assistant, Field Assistant or Scientific Assistant. Relatively there are less opportunities available for them in private sector when compared to public sector.
